Bar code control linked to an item

A Bar Code control can correspond to an item found in a data file, a query, ...

Two types of items can be associated with a Bar Code control:

  • a "Text" item.
  • a "Numeric" item.

Linking a Bar Code control to an item
In the window editor or in the report editor, to define the item linked to the "bar code" control:In the window editor, report editor or page editor to define the item linked to the "bar code" control:
  1. Display the "Link" tab in the description window of the control ("Description" from the popup menu).
  2. Select the data file or query, then the item corresponding to the Bar Code control.

1st case: the window is associated with a data file

All the items found in the data file (or in a linked data file) associated with a window control will be assigned by 屏幕填充到数据库表.

2nd case: the window is not associated with a specific data file

The controls must be assigned one by one via the following syntax:
