Overview
To force an action on a window, all you have to do is define a button of this window in "Automatic execution" mode. The principle is straightforward, if no window button was used after a specific duration, the process of the "Automatic execution" button is automatically run.

At run time, the duration is automatically decremented. When it reaches zero, the code of the button is automatically run. This mechanism is automatically stopped in the following cases:

  • if the user clicks a button.
  • if the user modifies a control.
  • if the user presses any keyboard key.
Note: The user has the ability to add a timer onto the button. This is one of the automatic features of the application (AAF). See Timer on button for more details.

Implementation

Definition of an automatic execution button

The definition of the button for automatic execution can be done:
  • in the description of the window ("Details" tab)
  • in the description of the button ("Details" tab)

A message indicates whether several buttons for automatic execution have been defined in the window.

Programming
You can also define a button for automatic validation with the WLanguage function named 关闭前时限.
